It’s time to celebrate Mother’s Day in style!
And what better way to do so then with another quadruple header in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The quartet of Game 4s will get underway at 12:30 p.m. ET / 9:30 a.m. PT as the Bruins host the Hurricanes. After that, down 2-1, St. Louis entertains Minnesota. After that, the maple Leafs and Oilers will look to go up 3-1 in their series to move within one win of advancing to Round 2.
But first, some prop bets for your consideration:
PROP 1: Evander Kane Anytime Goal (+150)
Sometimes in sports betting, riding the hot hand makes too much sense. And Kane, especially at that price, is a prime example of that. Simply put, the Los Angeles Kings do not have an answer for him. In the past two games alone, the power forward has scored five times on 12 shots. The Kane-McDavid combo has been lights-out for the Oilers.
PROP 2: William Nylander Over 2.5 SOG (-130)
Even though Nylander said he’s not thinking about it, there’s no question he’s thinking about it. Despite firing off a total of 11 shots on goal in the series, the 26-year-old has yet to find the back of the net. He’s the cleared the 2.5 total in each of the first three games and with pressure mounting, I’d expect the volume shooting to continue Sunday night. This guy’s due.
PROP 3: Jordan Kyrou Over 0.5 Assists (+155)
Since their decisive Game 1 victory, the Blues have lost back-to-back games. Across the board, they need more from everybody, including Kyrou, who has just one measly point – a goal – in the series. In the regular season, the 24-year-old notched 75 points in 74 games, so we all know he’s fully capable of being a difference maker for St. Louis. The time is nigh.
PROP 4: Carolina Hurricanes Race to 3 Goals (+145)
To preface, I like the Canes to win this game and grab a 3-1 series lead. For my money, they’re the better team, but full credit to Boston for their response in Game 3, even though Carolina scored first for the third consecutive game. Don’t forget, the Canes are 6-1 against the B’s this season. That said, if they’re going to push through Sunday afternoon, they’ll have to solve Jeremy Swayman, who made 25 saves in the Game 3 victory. Playing a hunch here.
